No surprise here. The Green Bay Packers ruled receiver Ty Montgomery out of Thursday night’s game with the Chicago Bears, Wednesday morning.

Montgomery hasn’t played since the Packers were 6-0. He injured his ankle against San Diego and although he’s been a bit participant in practice here and there, he’s never been close to getting back on the field on game day.
What was initially thought to be your garden variety ankle sprain was revealed to be the more severe high ankle sprain last week.
Montgomery was initially listed as questionable going into the Minnesota game, but was downgraded to doubtful on Saturday. This week, it appears the Packers aren’t even playing that game, which makes you wonder if Montgomery is even close to returning after what will be six weeks away.
Well there’s a fuckin’ surprise.
JANIS!
Gotta remember, that injury looked REALLY bad. I thought he snapped it
Its unfortunate he won’t be out there. The offense hasn’t been the same since he was lost. Hopefully he gets on track soon.
I am not a doctor but I had a severly spained ankle when I was 18,if this guy was in a walking boot,in a cast or using crutches for 4 weeks wouldn’t he be ready to go by now?
