Three Packers Questionable for Sunday

Sam Shields

The Green Bay Packers have listed three guys as questionable for Sunday’s showdown with the Carolina Panthers — cornerbacks Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins and receiver Ty Montgomery.

The Packers didn’t practice on Friday, so these are estimations. Neither Rollins (neck) or Shields (Shields) has participated in a practice this week.

Both players were injured against Denver.

Montgomery did practice on Thursday, albeit on a limited basis.

The Packers seem to be in the habit of giving guys who haven’t practiced the 50-50 treatment on Friday by listing them as questionable. They usually end up downgrading one or two of those guys on Saturday.

We wouldn’t be surprised if they do that with Shields and Rollins this Saturday.

If both of those guys miss the game, Damarious Randall would start alongside Casey Hayward. That would put Micah Hyde in the slot and make either LaDarius Gunter or Demetri Goodson the dime back.

If the offense scores like they should it does not matter who plays corner.

^^^ Exactly. If receivers get open and QB1 throws the damn ball, we can put Capers in the fucking slot.
