The Green Bay Packers got a couple of their injured cornerbacks back at practice on Wednesday. Both Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins returned after missing the Carolina game.
Neither practiced last week after getting injured against Denver.
This is, of course, no guarantee that either guy will play this weekend. Injured receiver Ty Montgomery practiced last week and still didn’t play on Sunday.
Montgomery, who’s missed two weeks with a sprained ankle, also practiced on Wednesday.
Not good news all around, though.
Two cornerbacks return, two more drop out.
Casey Hayward sat out with a concussion and Damarious Randall was also absent, although it’s unclear why.
Tackle Bryan Bulaga joined Randall in the no show category, while linebacker Mike Neal was present, but limited. It is not known what’s wrong with either player.
Who cares abput Heyward? He sucks & wont be on the team next year. Hopefully nothing serious happened to Randall.
agree, Hayward is a liability out there
Errybody knew Hayward didn’t have the speed for the outside. Thats why he was the slot corner. We’re just between a rock and a hard place this season.
Hayward is physically not NFL level. He’s way too slow. You need corners to be sub 4.5 to keep up with NFL receiver. Shields and Randall have that.
