The fall, for running back Eddie Lacy, appears to be complete.
Lacy is one of the Green Bay Packers’ seven game-day inactives today.
Lacy was limited in practice all week with a groin injury and listed as questionable on the injury report. However, he’s played through injuries before and we have to think he would go today if the coaching staff wanted him to.
It certainly appears Lacy has fallen completely out of favor.
James Starks was named the Packers’ No. 1 back earlier this week. Undrafted rookie Alonzo Harris will serve as his backup today.
As expected, receiver Ty Montgomery and his bum ankle are also inactive. Cornerbacks Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins will play.
It is the Lions, not the Panthers. that is why imho, they would prefer to let Lacy get back in shape and 100 pct. “healthy” for a future game, i.e., they have a short [thanksgiving] week schedule coming up.
Complete embarrassment
Eddy is hurt and having a rough time of it in general. So is the entire organization right now. He’ll be back and so will the Pack.
Go Pack!
Remedy,
“Complete embarrassment” is a sentence you fucking muppet. Use a period.
