Raji, Adams, Burnett All Inactive

Morgan Burnett

The Green Bay Packers are apparently going to play it cautious by resting guys who probably could play today.

Safety Morgan Burnett, receiver Davante Adams — both listed as questionable — and nose tackle B.J. Raji — listed as doubtful — are game day inactives.

It was reported this morning that Adams would be out. Both he and Burnett, who has a calf injury, practiced all week.

Raji and his inflamed groin did not.

The thinking here is obvious.

The Packers believe they can beat the Chargers without their full complement of players and, with the bye next week, are hoping they’ll be 100 percent healthy for the second half of the season.

As expected, linebacker Nick Perry and his injured shoulder are also inactive.

One thing to keep an eye on — with Raji out, the Packers only have four active defensive linemen.

    FIRE DOM CAPERS!!!~

That was an ugly game. Defense couldn’t stop the short passes or catch the ball and yet they managed to hold the Chargers to 20 points-no idea how. Rodgers does not look comfortable these past 3 games and it’s affecting his accuracy. Not usually one to judge play-calling but I don’t understand why we don’t run more. Sure Lacy is looking bad this year and we get stuffed occasionally but you have to stick with the run at least somewhat to make it work. Now we have 1 starting WR out of the 4 who began the season. STs looks pretty freaking impressive. Despite all this we somehow won, I’ll take it. I don’t think I will ever be happier to not be able to see the Packers play than I will be next week, TGItB.

      Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

Last week you were praising him and now you want to fire him. You people are as predictable as dog piss on fire hydrant.

If you don’t like Capers then go cheer for another team.
