The Green Bay Packers are apparently going to play it cautious by resting guys who probably could play today.
Safety Morgan Burnett, receiver Davante Adams — both listed as questionable — and nose tackle B.J. Raji — listed as doubtful — are game day inactives.
It was reported this morning that Adams would be out. Both he and Burnett, who has a calf injury, practiced all week.
Raji and his inflamed groin did not.
The thinking here is obvious.
The Packers believe they can beat the Chargers without their full complement of players and, with the bye next week, are hoping they’ll be 100 percent healthy for the second half of the season.
As expected, linebacker Nick Perry and his injured shoulder are also inactive.
One thing to keep an eye on — with Raji out, the Packers only have four active defensive linemen.
