This doesn’t come as any sort of surprise, but safety Morgan Burnett and receiver Davante Adams have been downgraded from questionable to doubtful on the Green Bay Packers’ Saturday injury report.
That makes it a virtual lock that neither guy will be active on Sunday.
Burnett is dealing with a calf injury and has played in only one game for the Packers this season — week 2. This year’s Clay Matthews then re-injured himself after giving us that one game of action.
Frankly, the Packers have shown they can play some pretty good defense without Burnett at this point, so we really don’t give a shit anymore.
Micah Hyde will start for Burnett.
Adams will miss his second straight week after re-injuring his ankle early in the Packers’ week 3 contest.
Much like the Burnett situation, we’re starting to care less and less if Adams is on the field or not. His second-year ascension hasn’t happened and probably isn’t happening.
So, we’ll be content with watching old man James Jones post career-best numbers.
“Old man” Jones is a friggin td-monster
One of TTs best moves….
Good job drafting defensive backs TT. Can never have too many good ones. Bad job one being Thornton.
I do care because there 12 more games to be played. Plus playoffs. There will be more injuries. The depth at safety is already thin right now with Richardson out. They need both these guys healthy because they could be key players for the stretch run.
OMFG the refs are fucking us over-this game better not come down to a challenge.
DATONE JONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
