Bryan Bulaga is Back

Bryan Bulaga

Just when we were discussing how to solve the Don Barclay problem, it looks as if the question might be answered for us. Starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga returned to practice for the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday.

Bulaga has missed three weeks with a knee injury. His recovery time was said to be up to six weeks, but there he was going full speed on Wednesday.

Before you get too excited, that is no guarantee that he’ll be back in the lineup this weekend.

The Packers practiced without pads on Wednesday. Thursday’s padded practice will most likely determine Bulaga’s fate this week.

I still blame some of the sacks on Rodgers and not Barclay. Rodgers held on to the ball too long and also did not step up in pocket when rush was wide. I notice that when we’re up, Rodgers tend to hold on to the ball longer. Less urgency I guess or trying to protect the ball more so more picky when where and when to throw. He needs to have confidence in his receivers and arm and keep firing away even when we’re up.

I’ll take a sack over an interception any given Sunday.

        ditto

lmao…..Although Rodgers is regarded as the best QB in the NFL, maybe jtmax should go to Green Bay and become Rodgers QB coach. This shit is priceless.

U would take a season ending sack over an interception?

So far there have been 0 season-ending sacks out of 266 and 1 season-endangering one (knock on fucking wood), say what you want about this o-line (namely the tackles) but they do not give many free rushed to the D, those are the plays that generally get QBs hurt. It also helps that teams don’t usually blitz Rodgers because he destroys them, in large part because of his mobility. Said mobility not only allows him to evade pressure altogether but also to lessen the impact of the hit because defenders can’t square up on him full speed.

Sack is worse because it puts rodgers at risk for injuries. I cringe when he holds the ball and runs around. Get rid of the ball and live to fight another day.

Exactly right. Even a grounding penalty is better.

Save bulaga for broncos. We can win without him till then. Broncos have best pass rush and after bye so bulaga should be 100percent then

Rams have a pretty good D Line too. Would be nice to have the great right whale play.

I would like to see bulaga play before then. Let him get back up to game speed before being thrown into the fire against the broncos
