Yup, Pete Carroll Thinks the Seahawks Got Screwed

Pete Carroll

Well, isn’t this rich.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll had some issues with the officiating after his team’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Carroll’s problem stems from Jayrone Elliott’s interception. After picking off Russell Wilson, Elliott fumbled the ball. The Packers were awarded the ball, but there was a scrum and Seahawks tackle Justin Britt came out of it with the ball.

This has happened before and it’s usually a result of the guy with the ball giving it up once the officials award possession. In this case, Elliott recovered his own fumble, the refs signaled Packers’ ball, Elliott got out of the scrum and Britt emerged with the ball.

But Carroll doesn’t see that as a possibility.

“I don’t know what the heck happened. I’m going to say it out loud here about this fumble thing. When the ball’s on the ground, and there’s a big pileup, we’re trying to get that football. And Justin Britt handed it to the official. Somewhere in there, the officials said that they declared that it was down, that they had the ball. Nobody pointed. Nobody told us that. So we kept battling, and we have the football. I don’t really understand that very well.

“I know what they said and all that, but I’m just disappointed in that because we’re going to compete for that ball, and we did. And we want to walk away from those piles with it, and we did. We just didn’t get it [from the refs].”

You whiny fuck.

Why don’t you go eat a bag of dicks?

Even if this was a bad call, Seattle does not get to complain about officiating.

They were the beneficiary of the single most bullshit call in officiating history. Their license to say anything about officiating is permanently fucking revoked.

What a fucking cock sucker. I just remember that piece o’ shit celebrating like he won the lottery when they upheld the fail mary call. I hope he chokes on it.

Twice Seattle fumbled. Twice multiple Packers jumped on it and appeared to obviously recover it. And both times the Seattle offensive linemen dove into the pile and dug their helmets into our players backs to try to get a call from the refs. Both nearly resulted in fights.

You might notice, Coach, that the one time the Packers fumbled, our offensive linemen didn’t jump onto your players and start a fight for the football. Because that’s bush league shit, Coach.

But go ahead and be a whiny bitch about your thug tactics not working. We expect that from you.

Bring out the tape and you’ll see Mike McCarthy bring his team back onto the field for the extra point after the Fail Mary. Maybe you’ll learn something about what class looks like.

Your last paragraph is EXACTLY my feeling on the topic.

I also remember the Seahawks completely mugging the Packer WRs before half and getting away with it, AND Russell Wilson throwing the ball 15 yards out of bounds from the pocket and the refs comically claiming there was a player “in the area.”

    Wow, he sucks

I think I want to see the Bears win next week, just so we can watch Seattle implode.

The only way I could hope for a Bears win is if it included Forte getting slammed out for the season.

Any chance of that flew out the door with Jay Cutler gone. Jimmy Clausen? No chance I’m afraid. But definitely would love nothing more than to see Seattle absolutely suck balls! Stay home Kam!

Like a typical bully, they don’t know what to do when the bullied fights back and wins. Take a cue from Rex Ryan, Petey. You got out coached.

I remember this Pete and his players gloating about the fail mary and basically rubbing everyone’s nose in it. This whiny, cheating motherfucker must think we all have a real short memory. Looking forward to the prolonged collapse of his “dynasty.”

Yeah, I like when Starks fumbled right in front of their bench and a few coaches ran out on to the field to celebrate like a bunch of spazzes. I can’t imagine MM would tolerate that type of Tom-foolery from his staff.
I really, really dislike Carroll and what he allows from his players and staff.

Don’t worry all you cheeseheads, when the big game is on the line in the playoffs, the Seahawks will win again and the Packers will choke!

    • Avatar for Tuson Packer Tuson Packer says:

Yea, because the Seahawks have such a history of the playoffs. At all.

Give it 5 years, if that; you will see the Seahawks picking top 5 in the first round and continuing to accelerate in obscurity, just like they did for decades.

You will have jumped off the one-hit-wonder bandwagon by then so I don’t really expect you to notice.

      • Avatar for Deepsky Deepsky says:

Yeah, it won’t matter where they pick. Schneider had a good track record of drafting up until 2012 when he ran out of the player information he stole from the Packers.

Not worried Hawk_Shit, the Shithawks won’t even make the playoffs this year….

    • Avatar for Chad Lundberg Chad Lundberg says:

Suck an egg, even if the Seahacks make it they’ll have to play back in Lambeau, Pack will be back to full health and you won’t stand a chance. You lost, accept it.

    • Avatar for Packer Bob Packer Bob says:

Yeah, but the two time Superbowl appearing Seachickens are 0-2. You have like a 12% chance of making the playoffs. Enjoy fading back into irrelevance. Hey, maybe the 12th man can get a job making lattes for hipsters?

      • Avatar for ay hombre ay hombre says:

Just sit back quietly and hope they fail. I’ll take all the action you can give that Seattle will make the playoffs. And when they do, we will likely have to beat them again. Everyone here is acting like the Packers did in the last five minutes of the championship game last year. This win was the battle it was not the war.

As much of a packers fan as I am, I agree. This is ONLY one more step towards the goal . . .

    • Avatar for Deepsky Deepsky says:

Maybe if it was in Seattle, because the refs have a strong history of making poor decisions there and the pumped in crowd noise causes issues for the offensive lineman.

But you lost this game. The next game will be in Green Bay, if Seattle does not implode before then.

    • Avatar for ferris ferris says:

You know deep down this team will not make it to that big game. Not with that offensive line.

You mean the second biggest strength of this team? one of the O-lines in football? one that’s on pace for only 16 sacks allowed all season? Yeah, okay, because the ‘Hawks line is SOOO good, and I’d bet you have them making the Playoffs.

Also, he was whining on the sidelines, about the call where the camera CLEARLY showed 12 Shithawks on the field. Everyone should send that big baby a box of pacifiers to suck on. Can’t stand that asshat.

I know a lot of pac12 alumni. They all hate PC. must be millions of them living in the USA at this point. Even goes beyond the widespread feelings for Jimmy Johnson when he coached The U.

Carroll also complained about the TD to Jones. Bakh-T moved after they jumped off sides. Shouldn’t have been a free play. I have to agree with him there, but I’m in no way complaining.

As to the fumble, as soon as the referee sees who is holding the majority of the ball, they call possession. After that point, it doesn’t matter who comes out of the pile with it. If Elliot heard the ref and then let go, whiny bitch Pete has nothing to complain about.

That being said, no one else has mentioned it but what was bugging the shit out of me was when Wilson would scramble, their WR’s were holding our DB’s so they couldn’t come up and make the tackle.

Is this overly emotional lesbian still crying over that call? Jesus fucking Christ. I hope we see these cheap shop taking scumfucks again and clean their clock the next time. As in we blow them out in Lambeau IN the playoffs.
