Randall Cobb said he planned on playing week 1 and it looks like that’s going to happen.
Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Cobb was expected to practice today and that he expected him to be available when the Packers face the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
“Expectations for Randall is that he’ll practice and be ready to play. I’m hopeful everybody will practice today,” McCarthy said.
Cobb sprained his shoulder on the first series of the Packers’ third preseason game. He’s been sidelined by the injury since.
