The third time wasn’t a charm for Myles White after all.
We were wondering who the Green Bay Packers would release to make room for James Jones and now we have our answer — their leading receiver during the preseason, Myles White.
White has come to camp with the Packers three times. He’s now been released before the regular season begins three times.
The Packers signed Jones, who spent seven years with the team, on Sunday. He was released by the New York Giants on Saturday.
We speculated, along with many others, that the Packers would release a player who played another position to make room for Jones.
They are currently carrying five receivers.
Life in the NFL..man it has to be hard to make a roster for a day and get cut just like that. No wonder players hold out etc.
No Fair League
The reality is White only made the team because Nelson went down.
