The Green Bay Packers must be down to 75 players on Tuesday. They got to work a little bit early by releasing five players on Monday.
Those players are linebacker Tavarus Dantzler, tackle Fabbians Ebbele, linebacker Josh Francis, defensive tackle Lavon Hooks and tackle Vince Kowalski.
Four of those five guys were undrafted free agents. The exception is Francis, who was signed out of the Indoor Football League back in March.
There aren’t any surprises in the group, although we suspect maybe this is what got Hooks released.

The Packers roster currently stands at 83 players.
You can bet that one of Tuesday’s reductions will be placing receiver Jordy Nelson on injured reserve.
