Here’s Ron Wolf’s Hall of Fame Speech

Ron Wolf

Former Green Bay Packers general manager Ron Wolf formally took is place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday evening.

He was presented by his son, Eliot.

Wolf ended his speech with a “Go Pack Go!” Here it is.

    Congratulations to Mr. Wolf. Despite working the large part of his career with other teams Mr. Wolf is a great example of a man who understands how unique the Packer organization and fans are, and fully loves the History, and achievements of The Green Bay Packers. Mr. Wolf is a big part of that history and those achievements. A Packer for life. Great job Mr. Wolf.

    I give Wolf a lot of credit for the Packer turnaround. But imagine the year is 1989 and instead of the Bob Harlan being named as president, someone who although he was never a coach was professionally involved in sports his whole career, the Packers name someone from the executive committee, like a car dealer or a paper factory CEO as president. The 70s and 80s would have continued on.
