[tps_title]24. Buffalo Bills[/tps_title]
The Bills lead us out of the ugly eight — the eight teams with objectively ugly uniforms — but just barely. As a testament to the deficiencies and shortcoming in their basic uniform design, their uniform changes so often it is hard to keep up. The blue with red and white trim is overused and so forever renders the team nondescript and forgettable. The logo, featuring a charging buffalo, is not particularly emblematic, and just does not have that iconic look that the truly great symbols do. Perhaps the design failure stems from the fact that they feature a near extinct animal. The most striking designs, from heraldic designs to sports logos and everything in between, generally feature animals or creatures that inspire fear and awe, and the buffalo just does not fit the “bill.” Although that may be fitting given how the Bills seem to be in constant danger of being relocated.
