A lot of people seemed to be holding their breath when second-year receiver Jared Abbrederis went down during the Green Bay Packers first training camp practice.
Abbrederis missed all of his rookie season with a torn ACL, which he suffered early in camp. Obviously, there was concern that he re-injured his knee.
Not the case.
It was revealed today that Abbrederis only has an concussion. He landed awkwardly on his back on Thursday.
That will likely put him out about a week, which doesn’t do a lot for his chances of securing the No. 4 or 5 receiver job, but also isn’t the end of the world.
He seems fragile. I doubt he makes the 53.
Monty, get it together. Jared Abbrederis’ draft report showed a history of concussions and other injuries that scared off many teams.
This latest concussion will probably seal his fate. He’s done.
Toast.
