Ah, the much-ballyhooed team-building exercise! The Green Bay Packers scrapped their Wednesday minicamp practice and went and shot some skeet instead.
These activities have become the norm under Mike McCarthy. The team went bowling last summer, played dodgeball the summer before and also shot at clay pigeons back in 2012. So, clearly McCarthy has three ideas that pass for team-building activities and they’re now being recycled.
You’d think with all of that time he has on his hands not calling plays, he could have come up with something different.
There used to be a Showbiz Pizza right down the road from Lambeau. Is that still there?
That would be some great team building. Skee-ball, the Rock-afire Explosion and Josh Sitton in the ball pit.
That sounds like some quality bonding time to me!
More photos right here.
Showbiz Pizza, Monty? Hahaha… Way to take us back to the 80s!
It has been Chucky Cheese for a long time now.
How dare the Packers loli-gag around and play with guns
#1: Guns are dangerous and the only solution is to take guns away from law-abiding citizens so only criminals and police will have them.
#2: We need to learn how to play football before team building things. Oh wait, 6 consecutive Division Titles? the most currently in the NFL? Never mind…
Josh Sitton in the ball pit…so many children would be scarred for life.
9 out of 10 for Monty on the comedy scale for this one. I cracked up multiple times.
Ahh skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet….
