The rookie most likely to compete for a starting spot is also the first rookie the Green Bay Packers have signed. Fourth-round pick Jake Ryan is under contract as of Thursday.
#Packers fourth-round pick Jake Ryan, LB, Michigan, has agreed to terms on a four-year contract, a source said. More deals should follow.

Ryan, an inside linebacker from Michigan, will get a chance to make the Packers think about moving Clay Matthews back to outside linebacker later this summer.
Although official details of the contract haven’t been released, we can tell you that it will be for four years and will pay Ryan in the general area of $549,169 this season, because that’s the number the rookie salary pool dictates.
Here are some Wolverines talking about Ryan.
Not sure what to think of everyone saying he makes lots of mistakes…. He better be able to overcome them in the nfl.
Mistakes ate ok.
As long as he doesn’t take himself out of a tight playoff game…..
is it ok for MM to take himself out of the next tight playoff game? you know, turn over O-coord. to someone who can call a two minute drill without the mental paralysis of a fat bunny staring into the jaws of a viper?
