Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was handed his second NFL MVP award on Saturday night at the NFL Honors. The event was hosted by Seth Myers, who had a pretty decent opening monologue.
During said monologue, Myers made fun of various NFL players, including Rodgers, who was there with his girlfriend, Olivia Munn.
Here’s the joke that Rodgers was the butt of.
MVP finalist Aaron Rodgers is here tonight, give it up for Aaron Rodgers. Aaron had a lot of memorable moments this year, that time in Week 3 when he told everyone to relax, and more recently that time in the last five minutes of the NFC Championship game when he said ‘WHY IS EVERYONE RELAXING? NOW IS NOT THE TIME OR THE PLACE FOR THIS FOOLISHNESS!’
That prompted a chuckle from Rodgers and an evil glare from Munn, who was more than happy for the camera time afforded her by being with the NFL’s MVP.
Notice her stick her head in there, forcing the camera to pan over?
Mmmmm hmmmm…
Anyway, she said later she wasn’t serious and told Myers he did a fine job hosting, so no bad feelings here. Just a broad who absolutely needs to be the center of attention.

Actually I would say it wasn’t staged. They had the camera on Rodgers for his reaction but I assure you he didn’t know what the joke was going to be nor did Munn. When Rodgers started to shake his head, Munn put on a frown and followed suit. It was quite funny but I can’t disagree with Monty that she leans her way into the shot. If it was staged, she would have no reason to lean in.
Although I don’t trash Munn like Monty does and think her ad lib was funny, she undoubtedly leaned in to make sure she got in on it.
