Aaron Rodgers will make his 100th career start at quarterback for the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
In case you haven’t been paying attention to the first 99, you’ve missed some pretty stellar play. We don’t use that descriptor lightly, either.
Here are a couple stats to put things in perspective.
Most Pass TD 1st 100 starts
NFL history:
Aaron Rodgers 219 (99 games)
Dan Marino 214
Brett Favre 194
Tony Romo 189— NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) December 4, 2014
Already did that! Rodgers and a couple Hall of Famers. Oh, and Tony Romo, but we’re going to choose to ignore him.

Alright, this list is less impressive. Any list with Matt Ryan in the top 10 is unimpressive by default. Or does it just totally lack personality? I’m not sure.
And somehow that clown Romo is No. 1. I mean, if Rodgers doesn’t throw for at least 293 on Monday night, then we may just have to forget all of this praise we’re heaping on him.
The only list Tony Romo should be No. 1 on is career 8-8 seasons.
Seriously, Rodgers may not be in very good company in that last category, but that doesn’t make what he’s done as a passer thus far in his career any less impressive.
Especially considering this.

Pretty good chance AR’ll bump Romo into the #2 slot sometime late in the first half Monday night.
Don’t overlook the dark horse in the race though. I noticed that Matt Schaub only has to throw 415 a game over his next ten games to top AR.
Oh, wait, that’s yards, not pick 6’s. My bad.
Romo may be a clown sometimes, but i hope y’all got to see his post game interview with the nfl network crew last nite. i hope our GB coaching staff did. TR kept pointing out that it takes not one, not two, not three, but quality contributions from several components of a complete FB team to win the big games. MM/DC/ST coach, are you listening?
btw, i protest anyone from san fransicko calling a fellow wisconsinite a clown [Romo hails from SE Wisconsin and grew up a Brett Favre fan].
So what?
Also, lest we forget about the value of his legs, Rodgers has more rushing yards (1,762) and rushing touchdowns (19) than every active signal-caller besides Michael Vick and Cam Newton.

How many rings? These numbers mean nothings when you look at some of the clowns on the list.
Also, those nos. should be corrected for avg. weather wind and temp. of the 100 games each QB played in. Notice that the top half of the list is stacked with dome and/or sunbelt teams QB? And the whole list is mostly latter day QB of the modern aerial offense style.
How many 4th quarters has he sat out? I bet it equates to several games.
