[tps_title]Best Offensive Player — Jordy Nelson[/tps_title]
Yeah, that’s right. We’re NOT picking Aaron Rodgers. We’re picking Jordy Nelson because, No. 1 he’s been largely responsible for Rodgers’ success and, No. 2, he actually won a game all by himself. Remember that Jets game in week 2? The Packers would have gotten their asses handed to them by the Jets (!) if it hadn’t been for Nelson’s career day. Nine catches, 209 yards and touchdown in that game. He was the entire Packers offense. Season totals thus far: 50 receptions, 737 yards and six TDs. I think you can do the math and double those numbers up. Pretty damn impressive. And since no one on the Packers defense would ever be worthy of this, this is also the Packers’ de facto MVP.
Monty, you’re killing me….in a good way. Biggest turd? Getting this award because he’s not as “dogshit awful” as last season?
I know you catch a lot of hell from the regulars & regular trolls on this sight, but you’re irreverence & snark is certainly appreciated by this sarcastic, snarky broad.
Thanks for the laughs! After last season’s giant turd in the Super Dome, I’ve been a bit pissy….
don’t you mean last week’s game in the superdrone?
No real disagreements with the list. Would like you to consider someone at a position that no one talks about and I thought would be a major problem because of who was not resigned and who was injured. I think the rookie center could be considered a better rookie of the half year than HHCD.
Linsley has performed very well and started every game. He was thrown into the fire by starting in Seattle with no major problems. Has exceeded my expectations more than any other rookie. Granted my expectations were low but we should hand out some love to Linsley. I was wrong about the center position being a potential problem when EDS was not resigned. Thanks Linsley.
