Clay Matthews says he’s playing this weekend.
Matthews participated in his second straight day of practice on Thursday after injuring his groin in the second half of the Green Bay Packers’ loss to Detroit last Sunday.
Matthews was listed as limited in practice for the second day in a row, but reports indicated that he appeared to be going full speed. Matthews was asked after practice if he plans on playing.
“Yeah, I’ll be out there,” Matthews said.
So there you go. At least Matthews isn’t pulling the usual “play-it-safe” with the injury bullshit.
Now, keep in mind that no one else has declared Matthews a go for Sunday, but there doesn’t appear to be any reason why he wouldn’t go at this point.
We’ve consulted the Magic 8-Ball and all signs point to yes. That’s as good of source as any.
That is very good news from Matthews. I hope Brad Jones does not feel as positive about his chances of playing.
LOL right! Matthews lasts the whole game I am Jesus Christ resurrected.
Its the Messiah !!!!!
Fucker betta be on the field. Getting tired of this bullshit. I remember having a sit down with Rodger’s brother 2 years ago….told me that Clay loves the limelight. Guess what Clay….all those ladies that that want you to bone them? Well they gonna start shutting their legs real quick if you are eating QB’s balls for lunch any more.
Oh, I didn’t say that I would play. I just said that “I’ll be out there.” As in “I’ll be out there, in street clothes, not playing.”
