HAMSTRING INJURY! KAPOW!
That’s right. If you had Jordy Nelson in the Green Bay Packers hamstring injury pool then today, you are the big winner!
And what a giant letdown for everyone who picked Clay Matthews. He should have already suffered his annual hamstring injury by this point, right?
Coach Mike McCarthy revealed that Nelson didn’t practice on Monday because he’s dealing with everyone’s favorite injury — a hamstring. Jordy was also held out of Saturday night’s game in Tennessee along with Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy. We thought that was simply because Jordy is awesome and clearly everyone who’s awesome wasn’t playing on Saturday.
Now, we’re going to have to assume it was because of this phantom hamstring injury.
At any rate, the good news is the injury isn’t serious. Nelson is said to be day-to-day, so he’ll likely be back at practice this week.
Although McCarthy didn’t say when the injury occurred, it would of had to be during practice on Friday or during warmups on Saturday. Nelson practiced all last week.
What happened to the consultants that were supposed to not let this happen?
His wallet is so fat now that he’s sitting at an angle, screwing up his hammie.
Well I guess I won’t see him playing this weekend in the preseason game against the lams.
How’s his pad level?
this dude is so important to our team i wouldnt give two squats if he dont play at all this whole preseason we neeeeeeeed him in seatlle so relax dont do shit and jus get ready for scumbag seahawks lord nelson
Brett never had hammy issues, from playing anyway….
It’s not “would of”. It’s “would have.” That’s some pretty basic shit.
Where’s Tyko with his clever “oh fuck me” phrases…
I bet he ran out of female reporters, and something tells me “Solomon WIlcotts” to fill in the blank just wouldn’t fly.
Yeah, I wouldn’t worry because we all know “day-to-day” means exactly shit. Tomorrow is a “day”, as is the Sunday of Week 4.
Mr. Shawn Neuser speak to soon…
Beats the Hell out of an ACL in my book (knock on wood).
For some reason when I saw the title of this article my first thought was Herpes…weird.
Anyone taking odds on whether this “not serious hamstring injury” is really a hamstring injury at all? (thinks back…https://totalpackers.com/2012/11/27/greg-jennings-will-save-the-packers/)
