Someone posing as John Madden recently posted a video of Brett Favre highlights — the greatest plays and defining moment… with the Green Bay Packers.
Yes, it touches on it all — the trade from Atlanta, the Vicodin problem, the Super Bowl years and the end. Or at least the end with the Green Bay Packers.
It’s like that portion of his career post-Packers never happened. I think we can probably all agree that it never should have happened, but this is some pretty selective retelling of history.
But hey, that just means you can enjoy it from start to finish and not want to stab yourself in face when Lord Favre turns purple. That scumbag does not appear in this video.
(this guy)
Great 5 minutes of Favre, as I think most of us would like to remember him. He messed up in the end, but I don’t doubt the fans will welcome him back when his name goes up on the ring at Lambeau.
Omissions of history are REVISIONIST.
Trolling for Wolf with this one….
What a over-dramatic baby. I was actually starting to forget about him crying about once a month about something.
I do not believe there is one player in NFL history that had so many plays that you said NO,NO,NO, YES!!!. Then had so many plays you said NO,NO,NO, OH SHIT??? there is always next season. The good thing is the Vikings also understand that feeling, just like we do in playoff losses to Philadelphia, New York and The Rams all with late or multiple interception games.
I didn’t realize Jenn Sterger had been by his side all along.
wait, what? Bert played for somebody else?
BER-TY JU-DAS.
Hey Monty,
Do you dig up a Favre headline every couple days just to make EW scream?
Never get sick of watching Brett throw to Sterling Sharpe. Watching that video made me realize how much I miss Brett. Glad he’s coming back this year. I was mad at him for a long time, but now im over it.
Come on over here Brett, place your head on my shoulder…..welcome back…
