2005: Matt Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
This was a dumb pick to begin with and you can blame the Jaguars for that. Jones was a quarterback in college, but the Jags figured they’d convert him to receiver because of his athletically-freakish combine performance. Not surprisingly, at least to everyone outside of Jacksonville, Jones was a bust. He only lasted four years in the league. In addition to not being terribly productive on the field, he also had substance abuse problems off it. Jones’ best season was 2008, when he had 65 catches for 761 yards and 2 touchdowns.
