The Green Bay Packers have signed the guy who may become their new starting center, fifth-round draft pick Corey Linsley.
He’s the third guy to sign, following Jared Abbrederis and Jeff Janis.
The numbers of his pretty much predetermined contract are as follows: four years, $2.405 million and a $185,000 signing bonus.
What have we learned about Linsley since he was drafted? Not a hell of a lot.
He grew up a Packers fan though and once dressed as a certain slinger of guns for Halloween. So there’s that.
He also looks pissed off in pretty much every football photo ever taken of him.
See here.
Nice. A Center from Ohio St.? I’ll take that. With EDS out the door. This guy is welcome. TT is great at finding these late-round O-Linemen. (T.J Lang, D-Bak, Josh Sitton…)
Grew-Up a Packers fan too so you know he’s from good stock. Let’s get this guy in the weight room & start f*ck*n sh*t up
J.C. Tretter is more laterally fluid, while this Linsley kid is more power ‘in a phone booth’. It’ll be interesting to see who wins this matchup. The better pass protector or the better run blocker.
Hell yeah. A center that’s gonna slap a motherfucker or two. It’s hard not to place this draft as one of TT’s better ones. Time will tell.
That photo is HILARIOUS.
All the barnyard animals better stay the eff out of this cornbred mutha fockers way.
