I didn’t even notice this when the kick happened, probably because I had already signed out. However, Green Bay Packers cornerback Davon House came awfully close to blocking the San Francisco 49ers game-winning field goal last night.
As you can see, the ball flies right between House’s arms.
Of course, had he blocked it, it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. There was a flag on the field and the refs would have called House offsides, giving the 49ers another shot five yards closer.
Since they made the kick, that didn’t come into play.
Hey Monty. Could we get a couple of clips of those “Here’s Davon House’s Almost Tackles”?
No doubt House was offsides on this play. As slow as he is, he probably had to start about the time the Niners were breaking the huddle.
Davon House got beat like a drum the whole night. Kaepernick continually threw in his direction (well him and Micah Hyde) and neither of these two proved they could make plays or tackles for that matter.
An “almost” INT by Hyde and an “almost” block by House.
“Almost” doesn’t quantify results. Neither of these two came to play last night. What a joke.
Neither played well but Hyde forced a fumble that any halfway decent player could recover. House got away with a lot of grabbing and got beat more than once, but he also helped hold Crabtree to a little over 40 yards receiving after he had gained 71 against the rest of the secondary on tge first drive alone. Again, nothing fantastic or even good, but those are results.
dawson almost missed that kick. If house had been flagged for offsides….oooohhhh boy
Fuck man, I was just starting to get over this god damn game…
