Actor James Van Der Beek is a Green Bay Packers fan and he was obviously watching the debacle against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The Packers didn’t have Aaron Rodgers, who’s out with a broken clavicle. Then backup Seneca Wallace went down with a groin injury on the first series. That left the Packers with third string QB Scott Tolzien under center.
Tolzien played well enough, but Van Der Beek joked during the game about the Packers calling him to play QB.

Van Der Beek, of course, played Jonathan Moxon in Varsity Blues.
Good enough to play quarterback for the Packers? Probably not, but something obviously needs to change if the Packers are going to right this ship.

Uncle Rico couldn’t cut it…obviously.
“How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?… Yeah… Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would’ve been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind”
“Your daddy was a no talent pussy, but at least he listened!”
He’ll put in the old hook and ladder. Billy Bob is our next signing.
