Actually, it happened 13 years ago… yesterday. But hell, I didn’t feel like posting it last night and there’s nothing going on this morning anyway. So, Antonio Freeman, with one of the greatest and luckiest catches in NFL history.
Here’s the scene. The Green Bay Packers are tied at 20 with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. It’s overtime. It’s at Lambeau. Brett Favre drops back on a 3rd and 4 and fires to Freeman and, well… just watch it in all of it’s glory.
Good old Stone Hands had some soft hands on this particular night. And Al Michaels with the “He did what?!” call.
Awesome.
Too bad the bears game didn’t end the same way :(
Dennis Miller…ha.
Also, love the look on Denny Green’s face at the very end. F’n’ Vikings. Suck it!
Best team that that play couldve happened to! God i hate that purple puke franchise!
Good ol’ Brent, forcing throws like this one here. Luckily it was mariculously caught by Freeman for a TD, that ball should’ve been intercepted. Vikings still suck!!
