Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley was released from the hospital on Thursday, according to Ed Werder.
Finley suffered a neck injury against the Browns that no one seems to know anything about, other than it was bad.

And, according to teammate Andrew Quarless, Finley is anxious to get back on the field. Quarless visited Finley on Sunday.
“I was there the night it happened, I stepped out when the doc came in and talked to him, but I kind of heard a little bit,” Quarless said.
“One of his biggest things was, ‘I’m going to get back.’ That’s in any of us. Anytime any guys go down, I mean this is what we love to do, so that’s the first thing (Finley asked the doctor): ‘When am I going to get back? What’s the timetables?’ and stuff like that.”
The Packers haven’t said much about Finley, other than to rule him out this week, but that’s probably because they don’t know much.
“We’re going to wait until everything comes in,” coach Mike McCarthy said. “(Team doctor) Pat McKenzie is collecting all the information, and once again we’ll do our due diligence. Obviously, we will not be premature on anything. We’ll do what’s in the best interests of Jermichael. That’s where we are.”
Despite Finley wanting to get back on the field, there’s probably still a good chance his season is over. The Packers don’t mess around with neck injuries, as evidenced by the release of Nick Collins and the fact that Sean Richardson has been cleared to play, but still isn’t practicing.
Figures. The year he finally starts playing at an elite level, he suffers a season-ending injury.
With Finley out, this does give me some consolation…

Sounds like he knows his playbook. Personally, I like how Rodgers elevates their game.
(Hopefully, this gets displayed in a timely fashion. I’ve pasted a link — and will likely get sent to timeout — as it “awaits moderation”)
