This will come to the surprise of virtually no one. At least it shouldn’t. Green Bay is the most fanatical NFL city, according to Foursquare.
Foursquare, for you old timers, is an app that let’s people check in at a bar or restaurant or wherever else they might be at. So logically, they looked at check-ins at NFL stadiums on game day. Of course, that alone wouldn’t have given Green Bay the crown here.
It would have given it to Dallas because their stadium is by far the largest in the NFL.
They also measured check-ins at sports bars on game days and obviously, since we’re all a bunch of drunks — BIG WIN!
Here’s the full top 10 list.
1. Green Bay (Packers)
2. Charlotte (Panthers)
3. Jacksonville (Jaguars)
4. Houston (Texans)
5. Seattle (Seahawks)
6. New Orleans (Saints)
7. Indianapolis (Colts)
8. Tampa (Buccaneers)
9. Buffalo (Bills)
10. Boston (Patriots)
That all pretty much makes sense, except for Charlotte, Jacksonville and Tampa. Tampa has trouble selling out their stadium half the time, but I guess that just means their fans are cheap, not that there aren’t a lot of them.
But have you ever met a Carolina Panthers or Jacksonville Jaguars fan? I haven’t.
We should also note whose shitty fans aren’t on the list, but then, you probably already did that — the rest of the NFC North.
Who uses Foursquare anymore?
FUCK YES! I LOVE IT! I LOVE THIS TEAM SO MUCH!
Except when I look at who else is on the listg, I have to question the methodology.
I hate the vikings & bears.
I would be so pissed if I had to sit behind those girls. Also, I don’t know how having a bunch of dipshits check in everywhere they go with their cell phones translates to “fanatical.”
