Vince Lombardi landed himself another future Hall of Famer in 1963, when he took linebacker Dave Robinson in the first round.
Along with defensive end Willie Davis and cornerback Herb Adderley, Robinson made it virtually impossible to do anything against the left side of the Packers defense for most of the 1960s.
Robinson was a three-time Pro Bowler and once a first-team All Pro.
Vince also hit on defensive end Lionel Aldridge, who played nine seasons in Green Bay, in the fourth; safety Tom Brown (five seasons) in the second; and tight end Marv Fleming (seven seasons) in the 11th.
Along with Robinson, these three would play key roles in the Packers championship seasons of the late ’60s.
