Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson came nine yards short of Eric Dickerson‘s single-season rushing record against the Green Bay Packers last week.
That fact obviously isn’t lost on people around Green Bay.
One local bar is displaying the sign you see above, which reads: Hey Adrian, this is what nine yards looks like.
We asked around a little bit and no one seems to be able to tell us where the banner is. If you know, let us know.

Really? For someone to need 208 yards in a game and go for 199 when everyone knows he’s getting the ball is pretty damn good. I guess if he had those 9 yards he only would have gashed the Pack for 418 instead of 409.
Would definitely be funnier if he wasn’t averaging 200 rushing yards a game against the GB defense. Of all the Vikings to make fun of…
It’s at Stadium View.
Don’t feed the beast.
Adrian “Horseshoes and Hand Grenades” Peterson. He’s an excellent athlete, but he’s not a Packer. Gotta throw the jokes in while I can.
As a diehard Packer fan, I have to say this is pathetic. Well, it’s a toss-up between this and the fact that people actually wear cheeseheads. If anything, this just shows how amazing Dickerson’s year was. I’ve never seen a RB have a year like Peterson has this year. Barry Sanders sure, but they have two different styles. Adrian Peterson’s comeback has been incredible to watch. To mock the fact that he was 9 yards away from the record… well, is pathetic.
Harsh….I would have rather won that game & let him have the record….but we beat them when it counted.
Wow packer fans can count to 9?! Congrats! BTW tell me what 409 yards look like.
Bend over and I’ll show you
Sean tell me what the Vikings Super Bowl trophy case looks like…
