You’ll probably be overjoyed to know the Green Bay Packers will be have a heavy dose of the NFC East in their 2013 schedule.
So, you won’t have to wait until the playoffs to see their annual beatdown at the hands of the New York Giants.
Although the schedule won’t be out until next summer, the NFL has released the home and away slate for the Packers in 2013.
Here’s who they’ll have and where.
Home: Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions
Away: New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and either San Francisco 49ers or Seattle Seahawks
The final away game will be determined this week. The Packers will get the winner of the NFC West, which will most likely be San Francisco. The 49ers just have to beat Arizona this weekend to claim that crown.
thank God we play Viqueens and Lions twice, because that is going to be one hell of a schedule.
Holy fuck that’s a ridiculous schedule. That’s 10 of this year’s playoff, or playoff chasing teams. And the road portion is brutal.
I don’t see a loss at home. Falcons will be out of the comfort of their dome. The Skins will be much anticipated the Pack will have the crowd to disrupt Robert Griffin. The Steelers aren’t the same team that they used to be. Browns and Eagles will be a cakewalk. Nfc north foes always struggle at Lambeau.
As for away games, the Bengals and 9ers may be the toughest. McCarthy will be hellbent to beat the fuckheads from New Jersey. The Cowboys can’t defend their home turf worth a damn. Flacco and the Ravens offense won’t be able to keep up with Arod and company. I’m thinking Baltimore gets embarrassed that week. The Vikings may be the only Nfc north team to get a W against us in the dome. They seem to be improving on defense. Ponder has a long way to go but AP doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
We should go 13-3 easily next year.
The Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL when they are at home their defense will be better next year as well; in no way is that game a gimme.
Don’t worry Adam. Playing good teams is what it’s all about. It just means that the Pack will step up their game. We’ll be seeing some awesome games next year. I’m excited for it.
Troy Aikman and Joe Buck should just travel with the team next year.
So for every 20 times we go to Dallas, they’ll come to Lambeau once?! Is Jerry Jones the ultimate cunt or what?!
?
Be nice if the Dallas Cowards came to Lambeau once in awhile!
Great comments re tough 2013.
As for playing in Dallas :
Cowpokes never recovered from that glorious meeting at Lambeau on 31-Dec-1967 …….
After the game defensive tackle Bob Lilly took a different view, telling reporters that the Cowboys were a great team except that they could not win the “big one”.
Good to see things haven’t changed in Dallas in 45 years.
Ah, this is the AFC North, not the AFC East as it says in the intro.
This is a tough away schedule. As always, the Packers will need to win within their division. Do that and they’ll be fine.
The Packers are 2-1 against the Giants in the last three years during the regular season.
Every game next year will be Fox or CBS game of the week. You may wanna change your story teaser to AFC North.
I will be planning to go to the San Fran game I hope I don’t get shot
This is much better than that weak season we had last year that left us soft when it mattered. Tough seasons develop tough teams & weak seasons breed weakness. We’re gonna have a great year next year!
To the person who said the cowboys never come to Lambeau Field- I believe we played the cowboys in 2008, 2009, and 2010 at Lambeau. Nice try.
Hey Chris Restivo,
I stand corrected! I always wondered why so many people on this site hated the Vikings. I never felt this hatred, voiced so many times over, as I equated the Vikings to the medium-sized rock in my back yard… I mean the rock never did anything, nothing! It just sat there, I suppose if I flipped it over I might find it giving shelter to a few bugs but that would be its only real impact, a perennial inert object that one would place no real expectations on. I just never thought anything of them but, as I was just made aware, the Vikings accolades include 8 NFC Championship & 4 Super Bowls appearances…. Never mind that they only have, uhm, how many titles? They are a vision of sustained excellence!
