Lance Easley Will Talk — For Money

Lance Easley

Lance Easley, the moron replacement ref who cost the Green Bay Packers a win over the Seattle Seahawks last Monday, is ready to talk — for a fee.

Time’s Sean Gregory reports he tried to contact Easley for a story and Easley declined his request at the advice of his media advisor.

“Steve Finley, ‘media adviser’ to Lance Easley, ref who called Seattle TD, says he’s advising Easley seek $$ for interviews. errr… “

Who knew you could profit off ineptitude?

As infuriating as this is, you can bet someone will probably pay Easley, who already told TMZ he made the right call. Hell, TMZ probably already paid him to say that. If you had any illusion about their journalist integrity, we can confirm, their business model is based on stalking celebrities, paying for interviews and paying people to snitch on celebrities. There are plenty of outfits that operate similarly.

What’s ironic is, the guy who owns the referee school Easley attended earlier this year seemed to go out of his way to point out what a good Christian Easley is before tearing down his officiating skills.

Profiting off someone else’s misery seems pretty Christian to me.

Wow..can’t argue with a website that has 2 adjectives in its name. I’m convinced by that alone, so no need to even click on the link.

      Thanks DD!

I’ve unfollowed this arrogant prick on Twitter because he thinks he’s God. He isn’t. Fuck a Cap’n Comeback. I’ll take a Cap’n Crunch!

Christians are hypocrites?! Say it ain’t so!! Why I’ve never met a Christian man who cheated on his wife, molested a child or took money from the poor and used it to further his empire or interests. That’s just not a very ‘Christian’ thing to do.

    • Donny H. says:

I know plenty of Christian men who are model citizens. Not really fair to label an entire group of people from the actions from only those who do wrong. Good deeds are done by people from every walk of life but none of that will make the news.

Wow, Christians are human? Who would have guessed. Better not to have any standards at all, then to try and live up to a few. That way if you are a horrible, nasty person you can at least escape being a hypocrite, which is far worse then being a thief or a murderer, or an an adulterer.

It’s nice to see somebody other than Lance Easley is going to try and use this clusterfuck of a colossal mistake to try and attract attention.

The pic of the Chancellor PI was classic. Of course he will show a pic with the ball hitting Finley, but not the other pic going around if Chancellor hitting Finley before the ball is there.

The argument in that long diatribe of nonsense is that Tate controlled the ball with his left hand the entire play. Pause for laughter. Pause again to try and remember the last time simultaneous posession was called when 3 hands possessed a ball (which really isn’t accurate anyways) and they still proceeded to called is simultaneous.

I like the Christian overtones of all of this too. Russell Wilson is still quoting scripture as well, probably to ease a somewhat guilty conscience for his smug bragging and pointing celebration to the heavens. He should’ve pointed to Easley instead, give credit where it is due.

This fucktard is basking in his 15 minutes of fame.. Maybe karma catches up with him and he develops a cheese allergy!

  8. Richard says:

Too bad the owners gave in to every single referee demand already. All they would’ve had to do was use this article in the negotiations and they could’ve saved themselves millions. They must really be kicking themselves.

  9. JC in DC says:

This now proves my conspiracy theory. Sir “Lancewantsalot” made the ridiculous call to enrich himself & his media advisor as he knew his moment of fame & some pretty good cash as a faux NFL referee would be ending soon. He needed a way to make some extra cash since he makes dog tirds handling other people’s money as a B of A branch manager & sometimes JUCO ref in Buttfuck, CA.

Next thing you know he’ll be making more greenbacks on the Dr. Phil & Oprah circuit giving his “Christian” testimony that it was Divine intervention that inspired him to make the call as he has always believed in the “value” of the saying “In God We Trust” . Thankfully God is a Packer fan & Lance will ultimately have to answer to Him and our patron saint, St. Vincent.

Jesus Christ, will you people give the whole Christian thing a rest? What the hell does that have to do with anything?
Lord above – I’ve never seen anything like this. I pray this doesn’t happen again. The devil is in the details and if the Packers rake up 666 yards I’ll quit watching football.
Oh yea, forgot…. Saints are Voodoo guys. They live in N’orleans. Everybody grab their crystals and incense.
