Green Bay Packers linebacker Brad Jones made one of the few tackles he made all season on a fan on Sunday.
Why did he take it upon himself to waste a 15-year-old kid who ran on the field? He was cold.
“Yeah, everybody asks me about it, probably even five minutes, kind of like now, but really, I was just cold,” Jones said. “I don’t understand how 10 security guards can’t catch one little kid. So, it’s all good.
“Nah, I think he was still laughing. I think I could still hear him. Maybe not. I was just happy to get the game back going again.”
Well, at least the kid had a sense of humor about it. I guess he can tell all his friends he got tackled by someone on the Green Bay Packers.
As for Jones, maybe we should get him some hand warmers or a pair of long undies.
It wasn’t cold at that game at all.
If Jones was cold for THAT game, then he is in serious trouble.
Who knows, maybe if he is cold enough in the playoffs, he’ll repeatedly sack the QB to stay warm. We can always hope.
