Packers Still Think Falcons Are Cheap

B.J. Raji
Not a fan of the Falcons.

The Green Bay Packers aren’t letting the Atlanta Falcons off the hook for what they consider dirty play quite yet.

After the game, several defenders reiterated what nose tackle B.J. Raji said before it — the Falcons are cheap, play after the whistle and go for guys’ legs.

“It’s unnecessary,” defensive end Ryan Pickett said. “They call it playing physical. But it’s after the whistle. It’s not physical. We know it watching tape that they like to hit after the whistle. You have to watch yourself around the piles.

“They point at you if you react. We just felt like if we just punch them upfront at the start it would end that. It’s frustrating to a point, but we know we have to dominate them upfront in between that stuff.”

Raji joined the fray as well.

“Great teams don’t indulge in the kind of cheap stuff the Falcons do,” Raji said. “We’re the champions and we play that way. We walk away from the stuff they pull. These guys are coached to play after the whistle.

“I don’t know what the deal is. I think it’s a lack of talent on their part. We didn’t worry about any of that. We came out and played our game.”

Why do I feel like the Falcons are becoming the Minnesota Vikings of the south? Oh, probably because they are.

Just heard that an Atlanta restaurant chain is introducing a new sandwich – The Matty Melt. Looks good when it’s first served, but after 15 minutes and a few bites it turns into a pile of shit right before your eyes.

The fall that O-lineman took after Hawk gave him a little shove is exactly the kind of cheap stuff they’re talking about

The ATL OL learned it from Cutler.

It isn’t long before football is just like effin soccer. Take a dive and hope to get a call.
