Packers Get Good News On Tramon Williams Injury

Tramon Williams

Good news from a bad situation.

Green Bay Packers cornerback [intlink id=”82″ type=”category”]Tramon Williams[/intlink] left Thursday night’s game with what looked like a bad shoulder injury after colliding with [intlink id=”162″ type=”category”]Nick Collins[/intlink].

Today the Packers got some good news.

According to Kareem Copeland the injury is a shoulder bruise, which isn’t as bad as initially thought.

Tramon Williams has shoulder bruise and there will be more info Wednesday. Mccarthy said the Outlook was more positive than first thought.

That doesn’t necessarily make Williams a lock to play next week, but a separated shoulder or a broken bone would have kept him out for some time.

We expect the Packers to be cautious with Williams, which will mean more [intlink id=”88″ type=”category”]Jarrett Bush[/intlink].

It looked bad, so if it’s only one week of Bush, we’ll be just fine.

Jus so long as he can play Sept. 25th against the piece-o-shit Bears…

Thank goodness!!! Seeing Tramon hurt was the only negative of the entire game last night.

We’ve basically got a bye this week so he’ll have 17 days to recover.

we shouldn’t be too cocky. I think we went into the 2nd lions game last year with that mentality and look what happened. I hope they don’t try to slack off because the panthers had a bad season. the defense still needs a lot of work so keep working!!!! But I would definitely keep Tramon out to rest for the next 3 games.

plus I am going to that game and I want to see a massacre! (massacre of the panthers of course…)

Me three! Glad to see that so many of us are making the trip to Charlotte!

What a relief. Two years in a row of the first game landing a major player on IR would’ve been no good.

More Bush = We are screwed!

Bush has played quite well in his last tow games. Nice pick in the Superbowl and he almost made two huge plays against the Saints. He’ll be fine against the Panthers.

I was almost certain it was a broken wrist or radius/ulna. The play didn’t look terrible but his reaction convinced me it was more serious.

bush is not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. remember, tramon himself was a backup at one point. we’ll be just fine with bush for a week or two if needed

especially since we’re playing carolina next week. Hope he’s healthy for the Bears game

Why Bush and not Sam Shields??

I can see Newton making 5 INT!! I dont see how we can lose this game.

Never say never but the team as a whole should be incredibly confident heading into this game. I expect a 3 to 4 td difference in the scores!

I would feel comfortable if Tramon sits out this next game, though if he feels perfectly fine and is checked out, then let him play.

carolina actually looks pretty good today…. we better bring all we got, just like every game we play

that was against AZ. Cam Newton’s mind is going to be blown when Capers does his thing.
