Despite all the blather and bluster about the [intlink id=”374″ type=”category”]Philadelphia Eagles[/intlink] and New England Patriots, the Green Bay Packers sit firmly atop ESPN’s preseason NFL power rankings.
The Patriots were second and Eagles third.
The [intlink id=”13″ type=”category”]Chicago Bears[/intlink] came in at No. 13, the [intlink id=”126″ type=”category”]Detroit Lions[/intlink] came in at No. 18 and the [intlink id=”35″ type=”category”]Minnesota Vikings[/intlink] came in at No. 25. The [intlink id=”86″ type=”category”]Cincinnati Bengals[/intlink] were last.
The Packers were ranked first on four of five ballots and second on the fifth. The Eagles received the other first-place vote.
This, of course, is all very important because preseason power rankings determine the winner of the Super Bowl 10 out of 10 times.
It’s a scientific fact.
Patriots are overrated due to their coach and QB. They are 1 and done in the playoffs two years running. They haven’t added anything that impresses me. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a step back this year.
1. Packers

3. Saints
4. Jets
5. Patriots
6. Steelers
7. Falcons
8. Giants
9. Ravens
10. Chiefs
Power rankings are e-dickswingingcontests and I’m fairly certain their only purpose is to incite internet riots.
