Artists Announced For Opening-Night Concert [Video]

Kid RockThe Green Bay Packers will open the season against the [intlink id=”234″ type=”category”]New Orleans Saints[/intlink] next Thursday and fans will get a chance to see Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5 in the NFL Kickoff concert.

The show is free and will be proceeded by a film honoring the 2010 Packers, which begins at 3:15. The concert ends at 6:30.

For those not going to Lambeau Field, NBC will air part of the concert during their one-hour long pregame show.

Does anyone else feel like [intlink id=”25″ type=”category”]Aaron Rodgers[/intlink] maybe put in a good word with the NFL to get Lady Antebellum on the bill?

Monty McMahon

Monty McMahon is one of the founders of Total Packers. He is probably the most famous graduate of UW-Oshkosh next to Jim Gantner.

Oh god all those bands suck. Kid Rock? He’s worse than Keith Urban! This is not a good day to be a Packer Fan.

AS much as i want to hate kid rock, I got free tickets to see him at MSG in 2002, and he put on an awesome live show. Of course, when you compare it to some emo twatholes or an elvis costello snoozefest circle jerk to some really sensitive lyrics, then he doesn’t stack up. The music is intended as party music for a good time and to rile up some sense of excitement.

    Who would you rather have?

I think that is a pretty good line up. Something for everyone.

Didn’t Rodgers slay the chick from Lady Antebellum? That might be awkward.
