Jay Glazer is reporting the NFL and NFLPA have reached an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement, which will put an end to the lockout Tuesday.
The players still have to vote to approve the deal, but that’s said to be a formality. Owners approved the agreement last week.
Free agency will begin Friday evening, but teams will be allowed to negotiate contracts with free agents and can sign rookies and undrafted free agents beginning tomorrow. Trades will also be allowed Tuesday.
Training camps will begin opening around the league Wednesday and continue to open through Sunday. The Packers will open camp Friday.
The next week should be borderline insane.
Time to defend our trophy.
Hope we sign all our rookies by the end of the week! No holdouts please!
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT! Now we can talk about more than tattoos and all the tail Aaron’s getting….although I am kinda proud of all the tail he’s getting…..
A-Rodge should find someone worth spending long-term with before some “tail” gets him in trouble. Dude isn’t 24 anymore.
This all worked out great for the Packers. Any team that needs immediate help from rookies or free agents is going to be hurting for the first month of the season.
