Aaron Rodgers’ Cheesy-Ass Spot For Gruber Law Offices

It was brought to our attention Green Bay Packers quarterback [intlink id=”25″ type=”category”]Aaron Rodgers[/intlink] did a commercial for Gruber Law Offices, a Milwaukee firm that chases ambulances.

We were also given the immpression the commercial was pretty lame. That impression was spot on.

Let me set this up for you, if you haven’t seen it. Rodgers and attorney David Gruber are sitting around in suits in a couple nice chairs talking about car insurance.

Totally plausible. I talk about car insurance with my friends all the time.

About halfway through you’ll realize Gruber reminds you of Saul Goodman, Bob Odenkirk’s character on Breaking Bad. If you haven’t seen the show, that’s not necessarily a good thing.

If only Aaron would have uttered Gruber’s catchphrase — One call… that’s all!

I wonder how much money they threw at him for this commercial?

Maybe you want to be little more careful with who you associate your personal brand, son. This spot does nothing but cheapen it.

Thanks to Sam for the tip.

…Rodgers is so good, he makes this commercial look like art…..

Heck; he is so good, that he can make J. Harrison look completely sane, smack Favre in the ass for good measure and score 5 TDs – all within the 31. seconds that commercial lasted!

    I don’t get it.

How much can a local advert really bag you that isn’t paid for by embarassing yourself on youtube?

You are a star NFL quarterback. A rare misfire from Rodgers.

Don’t understand this. Why would he associate himself with some two bit slimeball lawyer? It’s not like he was paid a lot of money for it.

Very strange of Rodgers. Probably had some crazy clause in his contract. He looks miserable doing this.

Who the hell cares. I don’t see anything wrong with him doing this ad. I have never seen a locally produced commercial that isn’t cheesy. The lawyer may or may not be shady, but no way you can judge that from a 20 second commercial. I say, keep getting the exposure.

not the first packer to do this and im not sure why you have to jump on his dick like that. there isn’t anything wrong with it, yeah pretty corny, but what would you expect? rodgers throwing bullet passes through gruber who then explodes…rodgers “one call, thats all”? that would be pretty sweet though.

Holy crap. Much ado about nothing. What was that? 20 seconds?

And actually, pretty well done spot for local and low budget.

I don’t think A-Rodge is a good choice for selling a law firm though. Now PacMan Jones or Mike Vick, THEY could sell some lawyers.

It would of been better if he said “Don’t drop the ball make the call!”

Is it just me or does Gruber move like a bobblehead doll?

  11. John P July 19, 2011

I think Aaron did this as a favor since Mr. Gruber is involved with the MACC fund, which Aaron is heavily involved in.

I had Gruber as an attorney and he is just a no good ambulance chaser. Rodgers should hang his head in shame for appearing with this crook. Contributing to charity is a well known tactic of crooked politicians and other dirtbags, trying to make themselves look noble while they scam the public. Don’t fall for it! Rodgers either was well paid for this or he is a gullible idiot. YOU make the call! Fred

Haha! I did a google search for “David Gruber Bobblehead,” and the number one hit was this page! Anyone interested in selling DG Bobblehead dolls in the Milwaukee area? I would love to have one. The guy is hilarious. I hope Aaron learned a lesson. He needs to be more careful.

Gruber is a leech on society and I just lost my admiration for Rodgers. Even Favre wasn’t this stupid or greedy.

Who cares? Are all personal injury lawyers ambulance chasers? No.

Regarding the TV ad, in a word.
