Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett is apparently not a fan of Green Bay Packers nose tackle B.J. Raji.
He’s also not a fan of the NFL Network’s top 100 players list. Frankly, I don’t blame him for that.
The list doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it’s voted on by players, so you could surmise that it’s something of a popularity contest like the Pro Bowl.
Anyway, Dockett is not on the list, which is odd since he’s a three-time Pro Bowler and was a first-team All Pro in 2009. Raji is on the list at No. 81.
Dockett, who’s a real wordsmith, took to Twitter to voice his displeasure.
I’m looking at this top 100 who picked this! RAY CHARLES! did they put Raji from GB in there and not DOCKETT! Smfh
Certainly, Dockett has some beef. Raji has never been to a Pro Bowl or been named All Pro.
That being said, he’s definitely one of the best young defensive tackles in the game and probably will achieve both of those honors in his career.
Not that we’d expect Dockett to recognize. He’s not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
His first tweet this morning was this.
I just got out the bed, and I’m standing tall like the statue of liberty! SMFH #dontjudgeme
Marvelous.
