[intlink id=”35″ type=”category”]Minnesota Vikings[/intlink] running back Adrian Peterson was asked several questions about the team’s quarterback situation and struggled to say anything positive about rookie Christian Ponder or default incumbent Joe Webb.
Peterson suggests he can’t see Ponder starting when the season opens. The part of the interview I particularly enjoyed is when he’s asked what gives Webb a chance to start and can’t really figure out an answer.
Going to be a long season in Minnesota and that’s really too bad.
key phrase ‘when you draft a QB that low’….meaning, we picked him high but he should’ve been picked low…he sucks. He will be injured and he will totally suck because he will be overwhelmed. This will be the most vanilla, basic, easy to read offense ever!
I, on the other hand, am extremely fired up about the Viking QB situation. It will be even more hilarious when they bring McNabb in.
I like how the interviewer prefaced a question about Ponder with, “You guys are a team that’s not that far from getting back to the playoffs.”
What a joke.
gee leave it to a packer fan to make such a staement and comment totally out of context from what Adrian said in the video, and of course no one attaches their name to the comment, lol. your intelligence was just proved,
I can’t predict the future like the other ‘experts’ who commented before me, but I can positively say one thing. There was no free agency and still there has been no free agency. The Vikings needed to draft a QB and they did. End of story. Adrian Peterson was labeled injury prone coming out of college and we all know how that has turned out.
The vets on this team are handling this all horribly and are giving this team a bad reputation. It hurts me saying this but its time to flush out the squad from the vets down and start over with players who have the right attitude. First on my list would be Shancoe. He needs to take a page from Tom Brady on how to handle the media.
The Vikings already have a bad reputation. If anything it’s the environment there that brings out the worst in the people.
