There’s no guarantee there will be NFL football on Sundays this year, but there still may be some football on Sunday.
And no, I’m not talking about the Lingerie Football League. That’s not football, it’s something to masturbate to.
I’m talking about college football. Specifically, the Pac-10.
The Pac-10 is discussing the possibility of playing games on Sunday if the NFL’s dumbass money grab known as the labor dispute drags on into the regularly-scheduled season.
I, for one, am all for it.
If these pricks can’t work out their differences by September, fuck ’em. I want to see football and I’ll take college football.
Hell, I live in Los Angeles and before the NCAA castrated the program, we had the 33rd NFL team, also known as USC. While Oregon may be trying to take that mantle, no one outside of the Pacific Northwest gives two shits about Oregon football, but that’s not the point.
The point is, this is the West Coast. There’s great football being played out here. It may not be the NFL, but it’s better than watching tennis on Sunday.
And if the NFL and the NFLPA can’t decide how to split up their billions of dollars that we, the fans, afford them by September, then I’ll gladly take an excellent brand of the sport where people aren’t arguing over how to get more money out of us.
If the lockout lasts the whole season the Packers while just be World Champions for that much longer.
Imagin if there isnt another nfl season. The packers would be the first and last ever team to win the vince lombardi trophy
It’s a good thing our organization is prepared for a full season lockout financially. Some teams are not and I could care less about them. I think we will have a season or at least a reduced season at the very least. Both sides are ready to get back to the table asap! My only interest is that the Packers play this year and I don’t have to block all sports channels off my tv til football comes back.
The Pac-10 will play on Sunday if they want NO ONE to watch their games. Good idea.
USC won by cheating, horrendously. Oregon wins through gimmicks. Pac-10 football is a joke.
