The Favre Barn Is No More

Favre barn
An improvement.

The Favre barn, which sits on Highway 10/45 in Winnebago County, is no more.

The red barn, which featured the message 4 ever in our heart (the heart was broken) as a tribute to former Green Bay Packers quarterback [intlink id=”41″ type=”category”]Brett Favre[/intlink], has been redecorated.

It’s now a tribute to [intlink id=”25″ type=”category”]Aaron Rodgers[/intlink], but still has a nod to Favre with the message #12 is 3x #4.

The owner, Patti Schroeder, says her barn has also been renamed Mr. Rodgers neighborhood.

I’d say that’s an improvement.

Okay first of all if you have the nerve to talk trash and try and down grade BRETT FARVE. one of the best athlete to wear a GREENBAY PACKERS uniform
Then you ain’t no PACKERS fan. BRETT FARVE made the GREENBAY PACKERS WHO THEY ARE JUST AS HE MADE AND TRAINED AARON RODGERS WHO HE IS TODAY. Do you not see the way A.RODGERS plays no one believed he could play and im glad that he won but not with out seeing how a true QB plays the game. Thanks to the best QB to play the game do we now have another great QB. why don’t you guys just forgive B.FARVE and move on. If you can’t forgive B.FARVE for moving to play for a team that wants him then you should be ashamed to show yourself as a GREENBAY PACKERS FAN. #1 TRUE GREENBAY/FARVE FAN……

No thats credit to Ron Wolf, Mike Holmgren and Reggie White with the top 5 ranked defense along with the top 5 ranked running game each of the 2 years the pack made it to the super bowl, not discrediting Favre but its a TEAM sport. In your view Deon Sanders should recieve all the credit to getting SF back to the SB same with the Cowboys, as he put each team over the humb and made them contenders for each of his stops. I am only trying to point out that Favre is 1 of 53 players not all 53, he gets way to much credit for thier super bowl runs, some he deserves but not ALL of it. now can i point out that Rodgers in 5 play off games tied the franchise record throwing for 300+ yards in the play offs, and has the franchise record for road playoff wins. Now if Favre was such a beast he should easily own all those records, but alas, he doesnt. and he had 17 fucking years to set those records not 3, so if you ask me Radgers is better, winning a super bowl in 3 not 5 years and having the posst season record book to himself, he will without a dobt get the franshise post season touchdown mark as wll. sorry for the long rant, and wall of text

He learned what not to do from Brent. I could put money down that Favre could give a shit about training anybody. Rodgers learned from McCarthy anyhow. His style is different (More accurate with less interceptions) plus he knows how to get rid of the ball. Basically Aaron Rodgers is an upgrade to Brent Favre.

I am a Packer fan, you fuck face are a Brent Favre fan. Do us Packer fans a favor and get off this web site and go blow Brent’s cock you turd.

Not a huge packer fan but wasn’t favre rodgers mentor?

The guy at least deserves a nod. You can’t say rodgers
Scrambles like a young favre and not acknowledge. Favre

Favre did not mentor Rodgers farve said “I’m a quarter back not a coach that isnt part of my job” there are pictures of them ‘looking’ at photos together on the sideline but that goes for any 1st 2nd 3rd string QB’s throughout the league. So no he did not ‘mentor’ him, however aaron did figure out how NOT to play the game by watching favre, all those picks and incompletiions, “forcing” it down field.

It’s been noted in more than one article that Favre pretty much refused to mentor Aaron Rodgers. It’s also been noted in more than one article that Aaron watched Brett from the sidelines in order to learn the Packers offense – that’s all he could do, since Mr. high-and-mighty wouldn’t take time with ANY of the other players. But Aaron looked to other QB’s like Steve Young in order to be the all-around player and person he has become. Thank God!

    Yes, thank God.

To the idiots who think Favre is spelled Farve, and to the idiots who think that Aaron Rodgers’ ability and success has anything to do with Favre, please never come back to this website again. You are fucking morons.

As a poster previously mentioned. Favre commented in an interview that it wasn’t his job to mentor Rodgers (not sure exact quote, but it was pretty close). Of course he also mentioned about five years before he left Green Bay that once he retired you wouldn’t hear from him again, e.g. he wasn’t going to be an analyst on T.V. Grew up with Lynn Dickey and loved Favre, but it’s pretty obvious he became uncoachable and a complainer. He threw a hissy when Ted wouldn’t get Moss, who wouldn’t been good for 1 or 2 years max.

Sorry man..if you have to tack on “Favre fan” in my book you are not a true fan of the team. If you are a “Farve fan” that also made you a Jets and a fan of the scumbag Vikings at one time. I don’t care about Favre and I never have. If you really want to know who made the Green Bay Packers look towards real fans like us who have supported the team all our lives and the generation before that did the exact same. Does anyone who a Favre fan ever consider the time the Packer put into his development which as we know took a while and gave him 16 years only collecting 1 Superbowl out of it. I am a fan of this organization and not one player that did not make this team. The Packers had already won 11 Championships before lord Farve got lucky enough to play for us.

Let me make something perfectly CLEAR here.

You don’t know shit about Brett if you think he had anything to do with mentoring A-Rodge.

    And…

You are NOT a Packer fan if you don’t even know how to spell Brett FUCKING FAVRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go again…. Brett Favre is NOT a green bay packer. He hasn’t been since the 2007 season. This is a Green Bay Packer fansite.

Did we support #4 when he was a packer? you bet we did. Did he choose to shit all over the best fans in the NFL when he decided to stick it to TT & the MM’s after they got tired of his shit? Yes he did. Do we choose to support him after all that? Maybe, at first; lots of us wished him well & thought “aww, he just wants to play ball” when he went to the Jets. Did we continue to wish him well when it became obvious he manipulated his way to the Viqueens to stick it to the Pack? Hell no.

Mentor Aaron Rodgers? Are you high? Rodgers learned to scamble from a pourous O-line who allowed the most sacks in the NFL in the 2009 season. Aaron learned what NOT to do from Favre, apparently both on the field & off. He became a great QB from watching film & showing up for OTA’s & training camp. Did you know that while the Viqueens had to send an entourage to bring Favre back for last season, AFTER training camp, Rodgers had been in Green Bay since March? What was he doing? Training, watching film, & improving at his position I suppose.

The greatest athelete to wear a green bay packers uniform? You must be high or no NOTHING about the history of the Pack. Favre may be the most well-known athelete to wear the uniform, but not the best. Nitschke, Starr, White, Driver, Woodson… there’s a long line of players in front of Favre in the heart of this life-long packers fan that deserve that title more.

Please go to Favre’s website if you feel the need to suck his cock. I’m sure he’ll appreciate it as long as you continue to tell him how great he is. As for me, he can kiss my ass.

I LOVE the barn’s new paint job!

    GO PACK GO!!!!!!!

    Are you kidding me?
He didn’t do crap to “mentor” A=Rod. He was threatened by him as he should be. He’s right “It’s not my job” proves that A-Rod was and is all he was before he was backup to Mr. Wonderful.
Rodgers doesn’t have to give any credit to Bernt Fervor, he has acknowledged his appreciation to Steve Young though.
Joe Montana and Brett Farve didn’t have someone to “mentor” them so they are far and away better than Rodgers and Young?
I seriously doubt it, you either “have it” or not. Rodgers has done what he’s done without the help of Bernie.

Jecht, you’re a moron and not a true fan. If you love him so much, spell his name right. And he made the franchise? MY ASS. He helped build it up and that I won’t deny, and neither will any other Packer fan. He was our guy for over a decade. BUT, you’re forgetting Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke, Vince Lombardi, Curly Lambeau, Don Hutson, Tony Canadeo, Reggie White, Mike Holmgren, and countless other people. BRETT FAVRE was a Packer. HE DID NOT MAKE THE PACKER FRANCHISE. Will he go down in history as a big part of it? Yes. No other Packer fan will deny that either. The Packers were around long before he was, and will be around long after he is gone. Get a life and quit jerking it to the picture he sent to Jen Sterger.
