NFC Championship 10-Second Delay

During our NFC Championship game gathering, we were watching the Green Bay Packers thrash the Chicago Bears on two separate TVs.

The small one outside was live. The larger one inside was DirectTV, hence a 10-second delay.

Here’s how Sam Shields’ fateful interception to end the game played out in that scenario.

I pay the fascist greedy ass organization known as the NFL $40 a year so I can listen live to WTMJ radio on the internet when the Pack isn’t on TV here in Rams/Bears/Colts country. When they are on TV, we usually end up with the TV on mute so I don’t have to hear Chris Collinsworth…so we hear the play after we see it. The delay is worth it so we don’t miss Wayne Larrivee’s cry….

    Hey, there’s an idea for a tshirt….
