The Green Bay Packers now have 13 players on injured reserve after the team placed linebacker Brandon Chillar and tight end/linebacker Spencer Havner there, Tuesday.
Both players aggravated injuries — Chillar a shoulder and Havner a hamstring — in the Packers’ loss to Atlanta.
Chillar recorded 16 tackles, a sack and an interception in eight games for the Packers, this season. He missed three games earlier in the season with the same injury, a year after signing a four-year, $21 million contract extension.
Havner was cut by the Packers following the preseason and signed with Detroit, where he appeared in five games as a linebacker and special teams player. Detroit cut him after he initially injured the hamstring and he appeared in only the Atlanta game after re-signing with the Packers. He caught no passes and recorded no tackles.

Hope Chillar’s contract doesn’t limit us to signing Bishop to an extension. Chillar has not looked right for a while. His “excellent” cover skills haven’t been on display for a while now.
Don’t worry, Bishop will get Hawk’s ~3mil per.
