We wouldn’t expect an unbiased answer from anyone here if they were asked to pick between Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
It’s a different case when you ask several NFL analysts, which the Chicago Sun Times Sean Jensen did. Out of 10 analysts polled, eight chose Rodgers. Two were undecided — Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden and former Bears coach Mike Ditka. Gruden, of course, loves everyone who’s ever played the game of football, so his indecision isn’t surprising.
Regardless, the common theme among those that chose Rodgers was his familiarity with the Packers offense, his consistency and the fact he’s had the same coaches for three years. Cutler has had three different offensive coordinators the past three years.
The NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi represents the majority opinion well.
”At this point, you like Aaron Rodgers because he’s been in the same system so long, and he’s been with those players and they’ve all grown up together. With Jay, this is his first year on the playground. So there lies the difference. So you’re going to go with the experience.”
While I already know how it would turn out if you guys voted on this, here the two players’ stats over the last three seasons to compare, anyway.

Plus, Rodgers is conscious of the fact that his teammates are watching him and following his example. Anyone recall Cutler sulking on the bench after throwing INTS and getting sacked? That’s a big part of what makes a leader. Cutler has it when things are going well. But when they turn south? If we pick him off and plant him into the turf a few times, look for that to change.
Also, Jay Cutler primarily breathes with his gaping slack jawed mouth.
Rodgers.
Packers lost cuz they blow dick.
how many times last night was Cutler BEGGING for a call?
