Green Bay Packers left guard Daryn Colledge was added to the team’s injury report on Friday with a sprained knee.
Rookie Bryan Bulaga practiced with the first team in Colledge’s spot.
Left tackle Chad Clifton, meanwhile, returned to practice and was a full participant. It seemed like Clifton’s balky knee would keep him out of the Bears game and Bulaga would start in his place, but it looks like that won’t be the case, at least prior to today’s practice.
The best-case scenario for the Packers is either Colledge or Clifton will be able to go on Monday night and Bulaga will start in place of the injured player. However, there’s a chance both Colledge and Clifton will be able to go and Bulaga won’t play at all, at least until Clifton starts to get abused like he has in the Packers first two games.
Colledge hasn’t missed a game in his career and said he expects to be ready to go on Monday.
