The Green Bay Packers have locked up third-round draft choice, Georgia Tech safety Morgan Burnett, with a four-year deal.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Burnett is expected to compete with Atari Bigby for the Packers starting strong safety spot.
The team is down to two unsigned draft picks — second-rounder Mike Neal and first-rounder Bryan Bulaga.
Here’s a little sampling of what Burnett can do.
And here’s an interview with Burnett.

good job Packers, two more rookies to go and we’re set! and Burnett looks like he will unseat Bigby of his starting role if Bigby doesnt his ass into training camp! but overall, Burnett is a good fit to our #2 Defense. He is a natural ball hawk and has playmakers skills! Go job Pack and TT for trading up for him! GO PACKERS!
The need to work him into the lineup! I agree he will upseat Bigby. Can’t wait to see what he can do for the Pack!
