OK, so Green Bay Packers’ cornerback Al Harris isn’t back on the football field, but he’s back in Green Bay, where he’ll finish rehabbing his surgically-repaired knee.
Harris made a surprise appearance at the Packers’ OTAs on Wednesday and said he intends to stay, although he isn’t close to returning to the field. When asked, Harris wouldn’t put a timetable on his return to action.
“I don’t want to give any predictions or anything like that, but I’m going to do my part,” Harris said. “So if it’s up to me, and it’s up to me working to get out there, then I’ll be out there. But we’ve got to go with the protocol and do what’s right for the team and what’s right for me. I’m going to do my part as far as preparing and working to get better.”
“I’m right where I should be for June 2.”
With that being said, check out the latest video from the National Football Post’s series on Harris’ recovery.
